Test results etc.

I had my 3 hour glucose tolerance test on Thursday which turned out just fine. I was pretty grouchy and hunger by the end, as I knew I would be, so I got some lunch and went home and did absolutely nothing but watch "Baby Story" all afternoon. I am going to have to stop watching that show by the way. Some of the stories really, really freak me out. Like the other day when the chick's water broke on the way to the hospital and she was within seconds of delivering in her car. She was screaming bloody murder. Yeesh. I much prefer "Taking baby home." Yes there is a lot of crying and diaper changing, but at least no one in is particular pain.

So yesterday I went to the obstetrical specialist and had another ultrasound. The baby is already approximately 3 pounds 12 ounces which is pretty big for 29 weeks. He is already head down, but not 'engaged' yet, although every time I sit down I feel his big head (just like Daddy!) squishing out over my thigh. *****sigh****** very uncomfortable. The doctor did not like it that I am still throwing up and thinks something else is going on so now I get to go to a gastric specialist. He suggested maybe gall bladder problems, but of course I no longer have a gall bladder. What I forgot to tell him at that point is that I was on medication for acid reflux before I got pregnant and had to go off of it. I think the acid reflux is just so bad that it makes food chunks come up too. I thought about not going, but since whatever it is may affect the baby, O'Tim said I should go. It would be good not to throw up any more.

So here are my doctor's appointments:

Thursday of this week

Monday and Tuesday in two weeks

Every two weeks for a month

then every week for a month.

I am tired of doctors.

Well then, we'll just skip the foreplay from now on.

I agree with Tim, you should go! I had major acid reflux also, but didn't blow chunks. Of course I ate Tums like candy while I was pregnant.
Tim you pervert!
