Well, we hibernated last night. We could have gone to the cabin with E&D, R&M, but not only was money an issue, but was sleeping. I don't sleep well anymore. I wake up about every 1 1/2 hours having to pee, or with bad heartbrurn, or just uncomfortable and it takes me awhile to get back to sleep. I am sure it is just practice, but somehow I think it will be different when it is the baby's needs to which I will have to attend.
I made it until past midnight and was asleep by 12:30, but then awake again at 1:45, 3:00, 4:30, and 6:00. I gave up at 6 and went to watch the news. Fortunately it was boring and I fell back asleep on the couch for a while.
The neighbors both seemed to be away last night which was a really good thing. They don't help the sleeping problem and have a penchant for fireworks.
Today I wanted to get a few things done, like take down the Christmas tree. O'Tim was reticent and I finally found out the real reason why. It is a holiday for him. He does not get too many holidays, so he does not want to spend it doing chores. I understand. I have had two weeks of holiday, so it does not bother me to spend a bit of time working. So anyway , I will take the ornaments off the tree, and pack up everything else, and leave the tree and the lights to him to do during the week or maybe Saturday. Babies to not take holidays, so I figure let him have his fun now.

Hooray! You didn't have to call the cops! :)
It's a new year filled with potential. Let's make it great!
My offer still stands if you need chore help. Just give me a yell. I've managed to keep my house fairly in order since Christmas, but it's much easier to help clean someone else's house than my own. I don't know why that is, but feel free to ask if you need to.
Happy New Year!
Happy New Year! You are right: babies do not take holidays. Enjoy any time you get to yourself during the next few months. See some movies in theaters!
