If your feelings are anything like what I think they may be... I don't think it is selfish. I think it is solace and relief for all. Or perhaps I don't have a clue what you are talking about.
I guess it's a process. I don't think it's quite linear either. It can be pretty jumbled. I'm glad you're writing. I hope it helps.
