I know I know....

It has been forever since I blogged. I have been keeping up with everyone else's blog, so don't think you've gotten rid of me.

The reason that I have not blogged is that I still feel like crap. I am still throwing up regularily, but the good news is is that I only feel like throwing up about half the day instead of the entire day. I am in my second trimester and this is the time that I am supposed to "glow" and enjoy my pregnancy. Well I am here to tell you that I AM NOT HAVING SO MUCH FUN.

Okay, so now I have to say something good. My wonderful husband refused to let me just lie around this weekend. We went out to dinner and to an open mike night on Saturday. It was quite the lovely little date. On Sunday we went to the local market. If you live in the area or ever visit, make sure to visit Chattanooga Market. It is a wonderful market with vegetables, artsy stuff, good food, and good musc. It is Sunday only noon until ??? from March to December. After eating at the market we went down to the Riverwalk. They have done amazing things in Chattanooga. I grew up here and remember what it was like years ago...dirty, smelly, and not so much to do. Now we have the beautiful waterfront and lots and lots of fun stuff to do downtown. The Nina (replica) is docked in Chattanooga until the end of the month. Only 5 dollars to tour it. The line was too long, so we passed, but I was very interested to see how very small the ship is (it is to scale). I also read that Columbus logged over 25,000 miles on it. I would not want to ride on that thing across the lake. It was tiny tiny tiny. I wonder how many people were on it when he came to the 'New World'...maybe ten...that is all there is room for.
We also went to a screening of "Iraq for Sale." It was a very disturbing movie. I am not one to watch non-fiction movies, or horror movies, or sad movies for that matter (It makes Tim so mad). I go to the movies to escape the drudgery of real life. I want humor and love and happy endings dammit.

It was still fun to spend so much time with my husband. I only threw up once in the car...lovely.
