Have I mentioned that I hate clowns? Let me rephrase that: I am terrified of clowns. They absolutely freak me out. Who is with me on this one? I have always hated them, but then I read Stephen King's "It" and never recovered.

Under hypnosis, my brother admitted in front of the entire high school (at an assembly) that he was terrified of clowns.
Even as our hometown's chief of police, he has not lived that down.
And when the television movie version of IT can out, we had great fun teasing him about it.
I read It several times, one after the other. I'm not scared of clowns, but evil clowns (which are actually ancient aliens) that know what you are scared of...that's scary.
I read that one while pregnant with Amber. She would lay there after she was born sleeping peacefully and all of a sudden jump like she was scared to death. Everyone blamed it on my Stephen King reading while she was still in the womb. I only read It and Carrie and Cujo while pregnant. I miss reading. Don't get to much with my two little ones.
