Still No Friggin' Air

Day 18 without air-conditioning. It was not so bad the first week or so. The humidity was low and at night it was getting down to 62 or so. Very nice open window weather. This week the typical Georgia in the summer humidity is back, along with the heat. The heat index was supposed to be about 100 today. Matt called and told me to come over if I needed to beat the heat. He and Sheila are really great people. I had to say no though. Max has infection in both ears and he whined ALL day. The only time he would settle down was when I was sitting in the recliner and he was laying on my belly. So you might say, hey what is wrong with sitting in the recliner all day? Did I mention that we are on day 18 without air conditioning? Max is now a whopping 20 pounds and 30 inches and is a little heater. So I am sitting in the leather recliner, sweating like crazy, with a hot, sick baby on my stomach. Max really is a very good baby and does not really cry or whine. , so I am not used to whining and I was really frazzled by the time Tim got home.

The good news is, is that it looks like insurance is going to cover the replacement of the air. The bad news is, is that it will take the funds around six days to get here.

Man I feel for you. You can always bring little Max and just hang at the Messenger all day. There is plenty of air round here.
