Going back to work

I have to go back to work on Tuesday. For four days with students and then post plan. I am irritated that I have to do those four days, but if I don't, they will be unpaid. I can take Max with me to post plan, no problem. If these last four days were not finals and Max were not still under special care, I could take him to work with me. I cannot imagine spending the entire day away from him. He will be in trusted care, but I have a feeling I will call and check on him about a million times every day. I dread August, when I REALLY have to go back to work.
