Phone Call

I just got the strangest phone call. I answer the phone and a little kid yells, "I got student of the month." There was a pause and I heard a voice in the background, "For behavior and grades," and the little boy repeated, "For behavior and grades." He sounded to be about 6, so I thought for just a moment that it might be Tim's nephew from California, but quickly realized the voice was way too southern for that. I congratulated the little boy and told him how proud I was of him and was his mommy home? He said yes that she was proud too. I asked to speak to her and she said to him, "Who is it?" To which the little boy replied, "I don't know." The Mom got on the phone and I told her congratulations but I had no idea who she or her student of the month was. She said he was supposed to be calling his brother, but must have dialed the wrong number. I said, "Yup, congratulations again." To which she responded, "Sorry, thanks, bye."
